Every GTCC student interested in registering for one or more online courses MUST complete the Online Success Seminar. This is a mandatory requirement. The seminar is free and is located in Moodle in the “My Courses” list.
Accessing the Online Success Seminar is easy:
Log into Moodle
Click the “My Courses” drop-down menu
Select “Online Success Seminar” and begin your session
NOTE: A final score of 100% is required to register for online classes.

Every student earning the required score will have a brief waiting period of 30-minutes. This wait period is necessary to update your student account. GTCC students are highly encouraged to work with an Academic Advisor in order to “MAP” out a program course completion plan once the online seminar is completed.

I have completed the online success seminar but I cannot register for classes, why? You most likely are within the 30-minute window required to update your student account.
I am trying to register for an online class but I keep getting a WebAdvisor message saying the course is restricted, Why? Restricted online courses require eDegree priority registration privileges and if you are not an eDegree student you must complete the Application Process to register for these courses.
I started the online success seminar and I want to see my progress, what do I do? You can log back into the seminar and at the top of the Moodle page click the link “Check my Grade or click the “Gradebook” link from the left side menu.
Do I have to retake this if I completed the eLearning certificate? Yes, the online success seminar is required for all students interested in taking any online course beginning Summer 2017.
